November 24th ~ Jack in the Green! The Spirits of English Folk Magic

from £11.00

As the Samhain tide gives way to the incoming Yuletide the land is alive with the presences of the mighty spirits and our beloved dead. We hear them in the shedding trees, on frosty mornings, in the dark of our dreams.

Tonight we cast away away the superficial concerns of the dark’s decent and find new ways to connect with the spirits of the land, sky, sea and hearth.

Our traditions and customs, the scraps of cunning lore, Fairy faith and old witchcraft whisper of the spirits that walk amongst us now - Jack in the Green , Kings of the trees, the Queen of the sea, the wise women weaving the threads of the land, the Antlered Stag, the watchful hare…

With fire and fir, yew and ivy, rowan and rosemary we explore our connection to the spirits of the land, and dream our way into deeper communion with them. They come to us each in different ways, wearing different forms. When we fill our homes and our selves with their tokens we increase the rivers of power that flow towards us.

Tonight we charm the wisdom of deepening darkness using herbs and trees to call upon the powers of our field for a richer, more magical life.

Come and join us for an evening of magic and enchantment!

You can bring ~ green from your field, including berries, pen and paper, candels, offering of food and milk.
