Across two afternoons, this course moves us deeper into the journey of reading tarot cards, focussing on reading for others.
Hannah has read tarot cards professionally for 30 years, and is a well respected reader employing a traditional approach to reading tarot. She set up her own practice in Norwich in the 1990s after many years as apprentice to that esteemed reader Joyce Collin-Smith, and since 2018 has returned to reading online and in person.
Across this short course Hannah will share her wealth of experience as a reader, empowering you to approach reading for others whether as a hobbyist, or as an addition to existing therapeutic / divination work you do.
Across two days we will explore the imaginal and spiritual dimensions of engaging with the cards through dynamic readings, illuminating how you can use the cards creatively and metaphysically for profound insight, future gazing, reflection, and transformation. This approach understands that the cards are alive with potential for us to harness, and that each act of reading is an offering of magic and wonder! Each afternoon ends in conducting readings.
In this two part advanced class we will cover:
The tarot walks amongst us - seeing the tarot in every day life
Setting up as a reader - the joys and the pitfalls
Construction the question and looking beyond
Managing challenges - when the cards don’t speak to us or we don’t like what they are saying
Advanced card layouts
